ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Purpose:
	An Arizona non-profit corporation operating within the Verde Valley of Arizona for the purpose of acquiring, managing, and enhancing the natural open space in the Verde Valley Region.
Executive Board:
	A self perpetuating group of ten to twenty persons who serve as the governing body of the corporation and will provide governance and strategic management of its affairs toward the fulfillment of the Mission. The Executive Board will be responsible for the establishment, approval, implementation and review of policy.
Advisory Board:
	Individuals appointed from time to time by the Executive Board whose expertise and a broad representation will be periodically called upon for support and advice in the conduct of the corporation and furtherance of its Mission.
Planning Council:
	A working group of professionals, planners from the five jurisdictions and Yavapai County, representatives from Arizona Game & Fish, Arizona State Land Department, Arizona State Parks, the U.S. Forest Service and National Park Service who have hands on work with the land and environmental issues on a daily basis.
And other functional groups such as a Collaborative Council and Technical Advisory Committees.
